Year 8 Engineering Workshops
On Thursday the 23rd and Friday the 24th of April, Year 8 took part in a joint Science and Technology project to design a driver-less train for Terminal 5 at Heathrow. The project was organised by Ealing Business partnership in conjunction with BAA, Heathrows owners. Many of the girls managed to operate the remote controlled buggies and operate a small working model.
On Monday, Habiba Choudhri from the Institute of Mechanical Engineers came into school to present Lesley Cameron with a Nintendo Wii she won whilst at the 'Big Bang Science Fair' as part of science week.
